We excavated two feet down in an unusably low-ceilinged brownstone cellar, to create space for a cozy movie and music room. Footlights, deco sconces and a minimal wood and steel custom stair enhance the natural charm of the whitewashed old brick arch bearing walls and rough stone foundation walls.
